Punishment

Angels of Death, #2

This book was fantastic, it left off right where Betrayal, the first book in the Angels of Death series ended. I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with the writing and the story itself. It captivated and held my attention from the start to the finish. There was never a dull moment in this book. The story itself is part of the adrenaline rush that comes from a well written plot, and this one was truly fascinating. It is not the standard, here are the characters, and here is the plot. As this story unfolds you get a feel for what might be around the corner but never enough that made it predictable. If anything, once one question was answered there were tons more unanswered.
Blade is a fallen Angel of Death and is one sexy and smoking hot male. He was once seeking revenge but now that he has met the beautiful and intriguing Abigail, he is trying to atone for his mistakes. The chemistry and the erotic sex scenes in this book are smoking hot, to the point of combustible. I love the way they meet and the instant chemistry between them. Blade has to come to grips with his sins from his past and when that past intertwines with Abigail he finds that he needs her now more than anything else. Without giving away any spoilers I will say that these two characters were made for each other.
I love getting to read about the secondary characters from past books and I love how the Angels and other heavenly beings and characters are brought to life. There are times that you want to laugh at the humor inserted into the story and then times when you just want to kick some angel ass for the way they think.
I highly recommend this read to those who love a great paranormal romance with some really kick ass heroes and villains. M.L. Guida is a gifted story teller. This book was sexy and filled with lots of action and smoking hot erotic writing, all while pulling you into her own world of Angels and Demons. I recommend reading the first book in the series before reading this one. You definitely need the back story to truly be able to appreciate this book. Happy Reading!

HD March talks about the writing process

Hello everyone! Today sitting with us at Passion In Print is author HD March. Her novel, Wolfsong, was just released last week.

Colleen- Good morning, thanks for taking the time on this hot, muggy day to stop by. Let’s get started! Tell me do you write every day? Do you have a writing desk or area that you prefer?

HD March - Yes, I have to. I’m compelled to get words down. They play around in my head until I put them onto paper. My favorite spot to write is my kitchen, comfortable and homely with my dogs. There’s no particular time to write, it’s when I can fit it in. It’s an addiction! I can’t go one day without putting pen to paper so to speak.

Colleen -What is your least favorite book you wrote? Why?

HD March - One that I never finished. It started off well and died along the way. It transcended writer’s block to forget it. If it bored me how could I expect it to go anywhere? I have too much respect for my readers to release that on them.

Colleen - Do your stories require research? Do you travel or just go to the library or Internet to gather your information?

HD March – Yes, the majority require research, whether it’s a tiny part or something quite in depth. It’s also one of my favorite parts of writing, I love it. My information is gathered exclusively from the web.

Colleen - What do you have coming out next with Passion In Print Press?

HD March - The follow-ups to Wolfsong Lullaby are Wolfsong Requiem and Wolfsong Soul.
